Harmony Through Union celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad, and honors the immigrant workers who helped make it possible. Harmony Through Union is likely to be the longest float in the parade. It features float riders that are descendants of original railroad workers, animated Golden Spike action, fireworks, and an escort of Chinese lion dancers. Harmony Through Union kicks off a yearlong series of special events, public information, media, and educational programs bringing light to the stories…
